My name is Teresa, I am the loving mother of five children and 9 nieces and nephews. I love and cherish my family and friends. The love and compassion I have for young children has inspired me to become an Educator. Those two aspects along with my desire to gain as much knowledge as I can to help children in their educational career, will help me become one of the best Educators. When I Think of Child Development
Do not train a child to learn by force or harshness; but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so that you may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar bent of the genius of each.
I have enjoyed viewing your blog and I want to commend you personally because having five children I am sure is not an easy task, and if you are equipped for that than you definitely are equipped to be an educator. I have enjoyed reading your posts and wish you all the success for the future courses.
I also want to add that this is a great quote by Plato. My quote was somewhat similar and it seemed as though when it came to kids, many can agree in the area of being able to say " we are not teaching them what to think but rather how to think and use their own minds"
